The Romans
With our Roman workshop we aim to give context to the children's learning through the artefacts and costume we provided. Along with our knowledge of course. Fast paced, fun and energetic teaching, keep the children engaged for this two hour workshop.
Roman history spans around 900 years which, you must agree, is pretty impossible to cover in a two hour workshop. However, this workshop briefly covers many general roman topics such as everyday life, food and clothing. The Emperors, entertainment and the many types of jobs people had. Medicine or lack there of. Hygiene or lack there of. Plus much, much more. The aim of this workshop is to leave the children with a better understanding of the Romans in general and excited and hungry to learn more.
